I took this at my in-laws house with my iPhone. They do not have a traditional front yard that is flat which could house a picket fence. They have a sloping hill that goes down to the sidewalk. My kids love to walk down the sidewalk to the end of their property, climb up the hill and then walk back around again. As you can see my daughter is a lot faster at getting up the hill than my son. She is a year older!
I took this one day when I was home sick from work with a bad sinus infection. I took my dog out later in the day for a walk so she could do her thing. That’s the rough part of not being in a home with a dog. When you are sick you have no choice but to get out of your bed and take care of them. She is so intuitive though. She knew I wasn’t feeling well, did her thing and walked back to our complex. I snapped this shot really quickly knowing I wanted to rest the remainder of the day.
The chairs were set out on campus and lined up waiting for family and friends to cheer on their loved ones as they are confirmed with their bachelor degrees. I still remember the day I sat through both of my ceremonies. What a great accomplishment for the students and their families. It’s always fun to see the event being put together, knowing what the day holds for those in attendance.
