Another with the iPhone. I used an HDR app to take this one and tried to sit as still as possible since it was getting later in the evening and darker. This was taken in a quad area at the local zoo. The evening I took this they were having a beer fest even that my husband and I attended. It was a lot of fun!
It’s the home stretch, the last 65 photos. Not all of these are going to be as good as some of my first shots. The DSLR was on the fritz and all I had available was my iPhone. Coming soon are better photos with my new camera that I bought to replace my 7 year old one.
On this night, we let the kids watch a movie on their portable DVD player. They love to sit side by side on the couch like this and watch together. These are the sweeter moments they share as siblings.
Just looking at this photo brings back some fun memories! The night I took this photo. I went to the park with one of my closets friends and her son. My daughter say with us while we were there munching on the cheese, meat and cracker snacks we brought. All the while the boys were playing in the sand and water. Both of them got mighty wet!!
My son loves playing with her son. He has bigger kid worship going on. Its so cute to see how her son plays with him and how gentle he is, knowing he is so much younger.
After the park visit, we came back to my house to relax over a glass of wine together. My daughter chilled on the couch while the boys played together. They did some bonding on our balcony with bubbles. Then they tore his room apart. Actually, that night, after they left I couldn’t find my sons milk bottle. Months later (that’s how far behind I am!) I found it in his toy cabinet. It was might gross but it made me laugh and remember what a great night we had with them!
When I took this picture, I wasn’t feeling up to it. I was still feeling down from the loss our family was dealing with. I literally took my kids toys out of the bathtub while they were bathing, set them on the edge and then snapped away with my iPhone. Thank goodness for the hipstomatic application!
I took this at my in-laws house with my iPhone. They do not have a traditional front yard that is flat which could house a picket fence. They have a sloping hill that goes down to the sidewalk. My kids love to walk down the sidewalk to the end of their property, climb up the hill and then walk back around again. As you can see my daughter is a lot faster at getting up the hill than my son. She is a year older!
